Matt Thiessen directs the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ and has been on staff for 9 years. Matt’s story is one of forgiveness and redemption and of the power of Jesus to make useful what is useless. After becoming a follower of Jesus at age 22, Matt spent a year at Torchbearer’s Bible Schools in Europe and then finished his bachelor’s degree at Colorado Christian University, followed by a Master’s degree at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Liz and Matt met in Austria and were married in 1995. After finishing college in Colorado, they moved to Chicago for seminary. It was there, in 2001, that God called them to join Campus Crusade for Christ. Now the mother of two busy kids, 5-year-old Levi and 8-month-old Lexi, Liz finds creative ways to meet with students. She loves having students in her home and sharing real life with them. Some of her favorite things are cooking great food, the outdoors, good coffee and good friends.

Chris McKinney studied Business at K-State & this will be his 7th year on staff at Mizzou. Chris enjoys being a spiritual resource to fraternity guys. He loves spending time with his wife & best friend, Elizabeth. He also loves the outdoors- camping, kayaking, mntn biking. He also enjoys good music, good food, good coffee, documentary films, watching people grow through experiencing grace & truth over time… and of course, football. Elizabeth McKinney grew up in St. Charles, IL & went to college at Miami of Ohio, where she studied Spanish & Religion.She is obsessed with her husband & also enjoys pink, esv, soy, venti bold w/ 2 pumps of mocha & peppermint, Verizon, pine trees, spinach, white lillies, Anthropologie, simple, authentic, cozy, our couch, ragamuffins, if you can make her laugh, big dogs, candles, fall, Jordan almonds, a good listener & ice cream.

Alan 2009 Alan Toigo has been on staff with Campus Crusade since August 2004. He is passionate about helping students understand how to know Jesus more. In his free time, Alan enjoys cooking, hanging out at the Rec, and spending time with his wife and son! If you’re interested in being in a Bible study, contact him!

Stephanie Toigo has been on staff for four years. She graduated with a degree in Elementary Education as a Jayhawk, but now loves Mizzou through and through. She loves having students in her home so feel free to invite yourself! She enjoys watching great movies, drinking good coffee, getting lost in a good book, laughing at The Office, doing Taebo, garage sales, hanging out with her handsome hubby and keeping up with her one year old, Trenton.

Eric Yearwood has been on staff with Campus Crusade since August 2004. He got involved with Crusade as a grad student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and God totally changed his life. In his spare time, Eric makes lots of drawings, paintings, songs, and animations. If you see him on campus, stop and say hi.

Miki Bohon has been on staff now for three years. God used her college experience to build her faith, and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to watch him at work in the lives of students at Mizzou. She went to Southern Methodist University where she was a swimmer, and is now back in her hometown of Columbia. Miki loves to workout, loves to laugh and is a huge Tiger football fan!

Laurie Andrews has been on staff with Campus Crusade since August 2006. She loves connecting with women at the heart level and sharing about Christ’s love in a culturally relevant way. When she’s not on campus, Laurie enjoys being in Columbia’s great outdoors, baking desserts, and watching college football, especially the Missouri Tigers. 

Ryan Wagner is enjoying his second year on staff at Mizzou. He graduated from Mizzou in May of 2006 and is excited to see what God will do his years on staff here at his alma mater. He enjoys walks around the neighborhood with his wife Jamie, camping, and eating the food that Alan enjoys cooking.

Jamie Wagner is currently starting her third year on staff at Mizzou. She is passionate about seeing women learn about the abundant life that God has for each individual and the passionate love of Jesus that transforms our hearts. She enjoys reading, a good cup of coffee, great conversations, and doing life along side of great friends. She is also passionate about seeing Greek students be transformed through Jesus.

JasonSummers Jason Summers has been on staff since 2005.  He graduated from Westminster College where he had been involved in Crusade.  He loves being a part of what God can do in the lives of those who put their faith in Him.  In his spare time he loves to spend time with his wife Mandie, and their two kids, Addison and Judah.  He also likes to play darts and fish. 

summers-1 Mandie Summers has been on staff since 2005. The Lord grabbed her heart as a college student and she loves the fact that she gets to be a part of students lives now. She loves to help women discover the abundant life that can be found in Christ, while baking cookies and sharing stories. She also loves to sew and cook and play with her two wonderful children, Addie and Judah. Mandie and Jason have been married since 2005.
